Ian is an internationally experienced and innovative business leader with particular strengths in initiating, developing and managing B2B and B2G relationships at the highest levels. Having worked initially in the public sector, Ian’s career has included senior roles in multiple sectors, most recently passenger rail and BPO and he has been deeply involved in developing public-private sector collaboration and outsourcing. Ian is currently Managing Director of FCP Limited, the specialist rail advisory firm.
A Cambridge graduate, Ian is recognised for his ability to innovate and to negotiate complex commercial solutions under intense pressure from clients and stakeholders in both the public and private sector, including national and local governments and some of the world’s largest companies.
